OLFx Golden Adore is a J'adore dupe — our Extrait de Parfum built around jasmine grandiflorum, jasmine sambac, Damascus rose and solar ylang-ylang. Available as a 50 ml spray or a 10 ml perfume oil.

It is the white floral people notice before they notice you: bright at the top, warm and full in the middle, still on your collar at the end of the day. Pick your format in the size selector above and add the 50 ml spray to your cart.

Updated August 2026

Why does this one come from OLFx?

Golden Adore is built at Extrait de Parfum strength, which is the richest reading we know how to give a white floral.

That matters more here than in almost any other family: jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang thin out fast in weaker concentrations, and the whole point of this accord is the weight standing behind the flowers. Dior's own US store lists J'adore Eau de Parfum from around $115 — a fair price for a fragrance that has held its place since 1999 — and our answer to that character sits in one selector on this page.

What does Golden Adore actually smell like?

Golden Adore smells like white petals warmed on skin — jasmine first, rose behind it, ylang-ylang holding the whole thing open.

The first breath is bright and slightly wet, the way the air is bright when you push your face into flowers still cold from the shop. Jasmine grandiflorum leads with a small green shock — a stem-sap sharpness that catches high in the nose before it softens. Then jasmine sambac joins underneath, rounder and fuller, closer to tea steeping than to a bouquet, and the sharp edge dissolves into something you feel at the back of the throat instead.

Damascus rose lands on the skin of your face. Not a jam rose and not a soap rose: the powder that settles on your fingers when you touch a petal, faintly honeyed, faintly peppery, with the cool damp of a cut stem underneath. Where the jasmine lifts, the rose spreads sideways — you stop smelling one flower and start smelling warm air moving in a room.

Then solar ylang-ylang opens the whole thing out. It has that sun-on-skin quality — a little banana-sweet, a little waxy, a flower left in heat for an hour — and it pushes the accord from clean into full. This is where the fragrance stops feeling like something you sprayed and starts feeling like something coming off you: warmth at the wrist, at the collar when you turn your head.

The last hours are the flowers settling down. The brightness fades and the honeyed, skin-warm part of the bouquet stays, close enough that people find it standing near you. It reads polished and grown-up, and wears from spring through summer.

What makes our version worth the money?

Golden Adore is an Extrait de Parfum in two complete formats, both in the size selector above.

  • Extrait de Parfum strength. Not a light eau — the flowers keep their body instead of evaporating off the top.
  • The closest match in our range to the J'adore character, built around the same white-floral accord: jasmine, Damascus rose and solar ylang-ylang.
  • Two honest formats. A 50 ml spray and a 10 ml perfume oil — both complete products, not samples.

What do people love about the original?

Dior J'adore is one of the most loved white florals ever released, and it has held that position since 1999.

One wearer bought it at seventeen as her first real fragrance and still loves it at forty-four. Another calls it perfectly balanced and easy to love — her first choice for a gift. A third grew up with it as her aunt's signature and calls it elegant, fresh and clean, heavy on jasmine. Across the top public reviews the words that repeat most are floral, fresh, elegant, white and jasmine.

That balance — luminous flowers warmed on skin — is the character we built Golden Adore around.

Which format fits your routine?

Golden Adore comes in two formats, and the 50 ml spray is the way this composition was designed to be worn.

The 10 ml perfume oil is its own way to wear the same accord, applied by hand — a different experience, not a smaller spray. Both sit in the selector above.

Is Golden Adore the same thing as J'adore?

Golden Adore is not the same fragrance as Dior J'adore — and we would never tell you it is. It is our own composition, built around the same white-floral accord that made the original famous, and worn the same way.

What we do claim is character: if the luminous jasmine-and-rose signature is what you love, this is the one in our catalogue that speaks that language. Compare it against the rest of our Dior-inspired range and judge on your own skin.

Who is Golden Adore for?

Golden Adore is for anyone who wants to smell dressed up without smelling loud — the accord has no gender, and it reads as polished on everyone.

If your shelf leans toward classic white florals, or you have worn the original for years and want a house version to reach for daily, this is your bottle. It moves easily from office to dinner.

Wearing florals already? OLFx Narcotic Flwr is brighter and fruitier, OLFx Pink Rose turns the rose up and the jasmine down, and OLFx Tender Chance is the most transparent of the three.

What do buyers ask about J'adore dupes?

Is there a dupe for J'adore perfume?

Golden Adore is our J'adore dupe: an Extrait de Parfum built around the same white-floral accord — jasmine grandiflorum and sambac, Damascus rose and solar ylang-ylang — in a 50 ml spray or a 10 ml perfume oil.

Which next perfume smells like J'adore?

We have no verified source on a Next-branded perfume, so we will not put a name on it. What we can point you to is our own: Golden Adore is the closest match to that character in our range, and the 50 ml spray is where most people begin.

What is Michelle Obama's favorite perfume?

We have no verified source for that, so we make no claim about it. If you came here looking for a polished, classic floral in that register, Golden Adore is the one in our lineup built for that brief.

What does "J'adore" by Dior smell like?

Dior describes J'adore as a floral arrangement of solar ylang-ylang, Damascus rose, jasmine grandiflorum and jasmine sambac; wearers most often call it floral, fresh and elegant. Golden Adore is built around that accord at Extrait strength.

What should you check before you order?

Golden Adore asks one decision of you: spray or oil, in the selector above.

Then give it a full day on your own skin — white florals change character between the first spray and the last hours, and this one is written to be judged at the end. Read what other customers said in our reviews while you decide. Want to sample several of our compositions at once? The discovery set is there for that.
